Flying Man and Friends is a creation of Ian Marquis. I’m a designer, writer, and musician. Currently, I live and work in Bangor, Maine. I graduated in 2006 from the University of Maine (Orono). Since then, I’ve been bouncing from place to place. For a while, I worked for a magazine. I’ve done freelance web design and development. Ultimately, what I really enjoy is creating things of my own. To that end, I’ve been working on several projects in my spare time. One of them is this comic.
There are plenty of “slice of life” comics. Plenty of strips with “two gamers on a couch.” I frequent many of them myself.
I wanted to make something a little different. Something you don’t see every day.
Flying Man and Friends is the result.
Even though I was determined to stick to FMAF, I never really thought I’d make it to 100 strips. But I did.
Now? Well, I guess you’ll just have to stick around to find out.
