The Return Policy

We met Teddy last strip. Now, he seems to have tired of pursuing Platy. Flying Man refers, of course, to the fact that he pulled Platy’s house from the ground back in strip 39.

  1. L.B. says:

I wonder if there will ever be peace between the two sides.

  2. Ian says:

Probably not for a bit. There’s so much stealing and intrigue going.

  3. Mum Pum says:

If you stare at Platy’s tear long enough, it seems to grow!

  4. Ian says:

Such a tragic little tear. Platy, we feel your pain.

  5. Platy wins the battle, but will he win the war?

  6. Ian says:

I fear the war is only beginning.

  7. Cyruk says:

now that they are homeless, they must build an Igloo!

  8. Ian says:

Ah, but you’re forgetting the castle!

  9. Anonymous (Not Really) says:

Isn’t that ironic? Don’t you think? Maybe a little TOO ironic…

  10. Ian says:

It’s almost as if someone had planned it and specifically chosen the most ironic outcome in advance.

  11. "NEW CHALLENGER" (APPROACHING) says:

How ironic. Platy’s house was uprooted by the main characters, then it was re-uprooted by Platy and his bear…friend? Brother? Father?

  12. Ian says:

The house is like currency. Traded, stolen, and stolen back.

  13. Wubbzy says:

How did platy climb onto teddy?

  14. Ian says:

He helped him onto his head, Iron Giant -style.

  15. Mad Hatter says:

This reminds me of many a grand prank war. It starts off small, then all of a sudden THERES A GIANT BEAR PULLING YOUR HOUSE!!!

  16. ChibiChump says:

lol this made me laugh. and ian…NO MORE TROLLFACE OR ANY OTHER CREEPY PICTURES OR ELSE I (might but probably wont) RIP MY EYES OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RARRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!! That’s sooo sweet of him. :) awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww I wish I had a giant friendly bear like Iron Giant… :’( in the last panel it looks like a dog half way buried those two and then just left them there. heh.

  17. Xiegfried says:

Whoops, haven’t read this in a while. School’s been busy. Sorry to hear about the unemployment, Ian. I sure missed a lot! A new character, and another new face for Flying Man. Yay plot development!

  18. mrgameandpie says:

    big… bear… pulling… house…. GET IT MR. STINKY!

  19. TIE GUY says:

Any one else think the beer got the teddy to sleep?

  20. Ian says:

Love the avatar, by the way – is that a pumpkin pie?

  21. mrgameandpie says:

I don’t know what kind of pie it is actually…. but probably

  22. Cyruk says:

@ TIE GUY, I think the beer gave him super strength
and seeing everyone got him or herself a house to live in, i kinda start to wonder where The Puffs live (in)…

  23. G says:

@Cyruk: If the beer gave him super strength, are we to assume that all drinks in the FMAF universe are that powerful? Like the Happiest Orange Juice, per se.

  24. Cyruk says:

@G: Well… We have seen what eggnog did to that snowman.

  25. Amossk says:

    @mrgameandpie and Ian

It’s Pie flavored pie. I checked.

  26. TIE GUY says:

    @Earlz
If beer can knock out a bear that’s no small feat :-D

  28. [...] This conflict has been brewing for quite some time now. I think the last straw was Flying Man and Mr. Stinky’s theft of Platy’s pet rock. The missile (which Platy holds the controls for) first appeared in strip 49. Alabaster’s gun and Persimmons’ knife come from strip 76 and strip 90 respectively. The castle was completed in strip 89, and has been in hiding since then. Harbor’s eggnog is powerful stuff, as we’ve seen before. The whale that was born in strip 93 has apparently learned to fly. Mr. Stinky has always had an ear for music, if you remember. Oh, and Teddy has been Platy’s friend ever since he helped him get his house back. [...]
